| Covered trailer, custom built on the chassis of a 1983 Dethleffs caravan. Used for 15 years to transport my HF3 car once or twice a year. Because of the very low weight (430 kg) it tows like a feather and never gave any problems with lurching or rocking up. The single axle layout makes it easy to be pushed and pulled around by hand in the paddock by a single person. Due to the limited payload of 670 kg it's suitable for transporting light vehicles like single seaters. The car has an amazing period history with entries at all the iconic European circuits, including Monaco, Silverstone, Montjuic, Oulton, Roskilde Ring, Pau, Brands, Villa Real, Magny Cours, Montlhéry, Knutstorp Ring. The car has an undisputed provenance confirmed by the Titan Register. Beautifully restored from the bare chassis with new bodywork, brand new Geoff Richardson engine, rebuilt gearbox, etc. for 2018 Goodwood Members Meeting. Only 8 laps completed in Members Meeting due to the snow on the circuit, so engine, etc. essentially brand new still!!!! Car properly prepared for storage after the MM and immediately it went on display in heated lobby of Titan Engineering, who have lovingly looked after it and meticulously turned the engine over regularly. Hence, despite being stored for a few years it is "on the button". | FOR SALE - MERLYN MK 14 1968 F3 - THE ORIGINAL FIRST MK14 CAR In 1967 and 1968 Tony Lanfranchi entered many of the available F3 races, both in Britain and Europe, quite often driving a car owned by Ken Bass, one of a number of people interested in racing and disposed to financially support up and coming racers, such as Tony. Early in 1968 the car was a Merlyn MK10, a quite successful design from Colchester Racing Developments (CRD). Unfortunately the MK10, being driven by Ken Bass, suffered major damage. The car was straightened but Tony was unhappy with the result and a new chassis obtained via Mark Konig. This turned out to be the first MK14 chassis produced by CRD and all the MK10 running gear was transferred to the MK14 chassis. The car raced at Monaco in 1968. A number of years ago Keith confirmed this with Ken and I also spoke to Ken some years ago, also confirming this. Only one chassis was produced in this configuration, all subsequent production chassis in 1968 - 1969 being designated MK14A. A one-off prototype for 1969 - 1970 was designated MK14AX. (unfortunately many race results incorrectly note cars to be MK14 rather than 14A). Since repatriation from France by Keith Norman much work has been carried out. This has included considerable work on the chassis, a zero hours engine by Stuart Rolt, New MK8 gearbox by Cavan Riley, two sets of new Revolution wheels, new top bodywork, screen, Simpson exhaust and much more. The chassis is original and has not been returned to as new condition to maintain as much history as possible. A number of spares are included and others by negotiation. The car has universal joint driveshafts which CRD told me a long time ago were used on their cars at times, also included in the sal are Hewland side plates and spider shafts for conversion if required. About 20 genuine Hewland unused or barely marked ratios are included.The car is located near King's Lynn, Norfolk, easily reached via the A10. We have plenty of trailer access space. | Lotus 41 € 1966 Chassis 12B First delivered to Jean Blanc (Swiss) in 1966. He returned the car that season to upgrade the suspension to the later 41C specification. Jean campaigned the car throughout 1967 and 68 including entries at Monaco, Monza, Pau, Hockenheim, Jarma, Many Cours and others. Period results include 3rd place in Germany (Eifelrennan), 14th in Spain (Jarma) 14th at Many Cours (one place ahead of Francois Cevert) and 17th at Monza. The car was invited and raced at the 2010 Monaco Historic. Full and extensive restoration by Simon Hadfield in 2014 including engine by Stuart Rolt and gearbox by Tony Wilson. It has won four Italian championships from 1968 to 1971, 2 Championships in France and 2 times the G.P. F3 of Monaco in 1968 with Jean Pierre and Jassaud in 1969 with Ronnie Peterson. This is perhaps one of the most 'beautiful on the market, restored so manic by a famous Italian specialist. It is the car ex Maurizio Montagnani, a fast Italian rider He raced with this car in 1969-70 with the Ford engine 1000 cc. MAE getting good results and always finishing in the top. In 1971 the 'car was purchased from Scuderia Mirabella Mille Miglia in Brescia. The FIA in the year 1971 has changed the regulation, increasing cylinder capacity engine 1000 cc. to 1600 cc. The car has been fitted with a new engine Ford Novamotor 1600 cc, and It continued to race with other drivers including Renzo Zorzi in 1972. Cars with certificate of origin of Tecno era, old fische FIA 1997 new HTP in February 2009 and other original documentation of era.
